RESPITE &
SHORT TERM CARE
It’s important that those in need have somewhere to go when their carer takes a holiday, unexpectedly falls ill, or is otherwise unable to offer their support for a time. Our short-term care provides a safe and friendly place for the resident to live for up to 28 days. During their stay, they’ll receive the same care as our permanent residents.

RESIDENTIAL CARE
A person may not be able to stay in their own home for a number of different reasons. We can offer comfortable full-time residential care that respects the dignity and individuality of our residents.

NURSING CARE
When it comes to nursing care, the dignity of the resident is of the utmost importance. The needs of the resident must be taken into account and our highly committed team will work tirelessly to offer rehabilitating care. As part of the care, we aim to build a strong relationship with the residents’ family to ensure that the care we offer is personalised to their needs.

DEMENTIA CARE
Caring for residents with dementia needs specialist care plans and knowledgeable staff, and the care we offer in Brooklands uses both aspects to create a safe and secure atmosphere. We strive to ensure that our residents live their lives free of the fear and uncertainty that comes with dementia.

END OF LIFE CARE
Here at Brooklands our nurses are trained to give the most personal and comforting care for those at the end of their lives. Working closely with the GP surgery and the palliative team, we can offer excellent care and support to those who are at that phase in their life. Brooklands are known for the excellent end of life care provided.
